Invite by link or SMS
Share a link that works for 14 days, or send an SMS. Anyone who signs up with the invited email is linked to their existing member automatically.
Expenses with the details
Amount, payer, participants, date and a note, filed under Food, Transport, Stay, Entertainment, Shopping or Other. Edit anytime, swipe to delete.
Split your way
Equal split, exact amounts per person, or exclude someone who was not there. Leftover cents are distributed deterministically so the total always matches.
Any currency, one balance
Pay for dinner in EUR inside a PLN group. Each expense keeps its own currency and the balance is converted with daily ECB rates.
Balances that add up
For every member: what they paid, what they owe and the net result. The whole group always sums to zero, so nothing is lost in rounding.

A weekend away can leave six people owing each other in a tangle of small amounts. SplitDone works out the minimal set of transfers that settles everyone at once.
- If Anna owes Ben and Ben owes Chloe, the app suggests one payment from Anna to Chloe.
- Nobody pays more than their net balance, and nobody is left waiting on a chain of transfers.
- Mark each suggested transfer as paid, fully or partially, and watch the group go to zero.
Multi-currency
Pay in euros, settle in zloty
Every expense remembers the currency it was paid in. The group balance is shown in the group currency, converted with the European Central Bank's daily reference rates. If the rate service is unreachable, the last known rate is used so you are never blocked.

Questions people ask
Is SplitDone really free?
Yes. Every feature in the app is free: unlimited groups, expenses, currencies, debt simplification and settlements. There is no premium tier, no paywall and no ads.
Does it work with different currencies?
Yes. Each expense can be in its own currency, and the group balance is shown in the group currency. Conversion uses daily European Central Bank reference rates, with a cached fallback when the rate service is unreachable.
Do my friends need the app?
No. You can add anyone to a group by name and track what they paid and owe. When they want to see it themselves, invite them by link (valid for 14 days) or SMS. If they sign up with the email you invited, their account is linked to the existing member automatically.
How does debt simplification work?
SplitDone looks at everyone's net balance in a group and computes the smallest set of transfers that settles it. If Anna owes Ben and Ben owes Chloe the same amount, the app suggests one payment from Anna to Chloe instead of two.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). Usage analytics contain only event names: no names, emails, phone numbers or expense descriptions are ever sent. We do not sell data, and you can delete your account from inside the app or by email.
When is Android coming?
Android is the next item on the roadmap after the iPhone launch. The app is built with React Native, so most of the work is already shared. We do not have a public date yet.
